Bridge organization for development and humanitarian relief has organized a training workshop on the concepts and basics of human rights in Iraq and how to apply them in the presence of a group of human rights specialists, college students and representatives of a number of local and international organizations.
The organization carried out its training program in conjunction with World Human Rights Day,
Dr. Omar Ibrahim, a human rights expert, said that the workshop was applied to the practical and theoretical system, adding that the results of this workshop will be part of studies and programs to examine the problems of applying human rights in Iraq.
In the same context, the participants stressed that the training workshop held by the organization has established in their minds the basics of human rights and ways of applying them, in addition to how to deal with them locally and internationally.
At the conclusion of the workshop, the organization presented certificates of appreciation to the attendees and representatives of international and local organizations, with the organization’s insistence on the need to normalize the concepts of human rights in Iraq and Arab societies.
