Anbar – Amiriyah Fallujah
As part of the ongoing campaign to ease the winter chill to displaced people in the camps, the Bridge organization visited the Amiriyah Fallujah camp9, and meet with the camp administration, the number of displaced persons and to identify critical needs for them and of the means of heating.
As part of its relief the Bridge organization has distributed blankets and mattresses to displaced people in the camp, which included distribution of 100 families from the families that inhabit the camp and the newly come to it.
Relief Campaign Management, said that the aid comes amid growing suffering of the families displaced by the winter and lack of humanitarian aid to them, noting that the displaced families need more supplies of life and the requirements of the face of the difficult living conditions.
The Fallujah camp 9 of modern open camps in Amiriyah Fallujah area and home to nearly 250 families, mostly from the cities of Ana ,Rawa and Qaim, according to the camp management.
The displaced families expressed gratitude for the humanitarian organization Bridge, saying that aid contributed to relieve their suffering, noting that the aid given to them by the organization is one of the essential needs for them to cope with displacement and winter conditions.
It is said that Amiriyah Fallujah is located 60 km to the southwest of the Iraqi capital Baghdad. And it is one of the towns that have received large numbers of displaced people from various cities of Iraq in general, and especially Anbar.
