Bridge Organisation for Development and Humanitarian Relief has provided a displaced child from Hawija district in Kerkuk with an artificial limb
The little boy, Wisam Mohammed, was forced to abandon his district with his family during the battles the district was facing. During their escape to safer places, Wisam was shot by an arbitrary shooting near their residence. Due to the lack of basic necessities in accordance with the severity of his injury, the family was not able to avoid his right leg amputation. The family moved to different places in search of any affordable solution to their little boy’s case.
Bridge Organisation for Development and Humanitarian Relief has taken it as their responsibility towards war children like Wisam to cover all the expenses of his artificial lag operation. The mere purpose is to draw a smile on faces of those children whose lives were stolen by unjust constant wars
